Congrats!!
Congratulations, seems to be a theme here, all red bikes.

Owners views would be great?
Quick review

So, done about 140 miles. So smooth, effortless riding and exceptional response (touring mode). Had a 749 but was not good for my back (old age :smile2:) this is so much better. Yes, Very different to ride than my full throttle but of course it would be. Like the 749, you don't appreciate the speed like with the scrambler. The up / down quickshifter is incredible. Mirrors are not particularly useful but then on the 749 they were completely useless.also, there is an amount of vibration noticeable through the mirrors but not too much of a concern. As with all the Ducati I've owned it is like riding on rails in the turns.
I doubt anyone is going to be disappointed. Unanimous view from all who have seen it is that it is one of the best looking bikes around - I agree totally. For anyone waiting for delivery, I don't think you'll be disappointed when it arrives. Enjoy.

Enjoy your ride, while I sit here in the cold and rain waiting for my phone to ring. :)
Tank protector required

Not ridden since previous post BUT noticed scuffing on the tank rear / top from my jacket. Unavoidable I think to have possibility of jacket resting on tank so tank protector is IMO a necessity

Yes, it's absolutely important to have a tank pad. I've got one and I noticed that I got scuff marks on my jacket instead. :)

Scuff marks on the jacket adds character to the jacket...:grin2:
