PFA attached image for the issue.
The Range and Gas indicator stops showing info.
Earlier this was intermittent but now its permanent.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any workaround?

I'd say the fuel level sensor in the tank has packed up. The dash can't show these figures because it doesn't know how much fuel there is.

Sounds like he needs to start with a new sensor, first, then go from there. The fact that there is nothing showing on the dash tells me it's possibly more than just a sensor, though. I would expect a similar outcome to @shep 's if it were only the sensor, no?

I think it might depend on whether the sensor is physically stuck at a low level or is electrically open circuit. In the first instance it will send a signal to the dash indicating a low fuel level, in the second instance it will send nothing to the dash. Agreed that a new sensor is the first port of call.

Had this happen to me early on with about 5K miles on. Fortunately after turning off the key and restarting it did not appear. Came on the next day and let it sit overnite and have not seen it since. I must be lucky but I can sympathize with your predicament. Since it has not re appeared I have not investigated it anymore.

New fuel sensor under warranty

As I took it to the dealer, he already knew about this problem and said its a common issue he's seen in ducat.
Went ahead to submit a report for approval from Ducati which got approved in couple days and now I'm waiting for the parts(fuel sensor) to reach SoCal and getting fitted(warranty covers labor) next week.

Also did both the recalls along the way, will have to see how does new mirror stays.

Now I'm not sure if I should get the extended 3 year Ever Red warranty for 2100 USD??
Any suggestions with these kind of problems, I'm leaning towards the extended warranty?

I'm taking mine in to fix this issue after living with it for the past few months. Thanks for this input as I'll be showing my service guy this response. Since my warranty on my 2017 SS 939s is running out this year I wonder too if I should extend it. That's really pricey. I hope all the factory bugs are known by now but what's to say with longer term...
