Anyone have an info on how to do this? I can't seem to find anything anywhere! Manual says go to the dealer! ha ha

Here are @Derek 's instructions from that post:

I have now fitted the hi flow filter. Lifting the tank was a dawdle.
Remove both side fairings
Remove the plastic covert around the ignition key
Remove the 2 forward screws holding the seat panels
Pop out the two plastic pegs at the rear of the tank holding the seat panels
Remove the single screw at the front left of the tank.
The tank can now be lifted at the front pivoting at the rear to access the filter.
Beware the two breather (?) pipes when lowering the tank making sure they don't get kinked.
Re-assembly is the reverse procedure.

Just to expand on Derek's instructions. These are the two forward screws holding the seat panels:

These are the plastic pegs he refers to:

These are the clips holding the fuel breather lines. I used a small flathead to pry and the clip pops open. They are open in my picture. To tighten, just squeeze with pliers and you will see and hear it snap closed:

And here are the screws to remove the air filter. 3mm Allen key head on them:

Hey Derek,

Just want to confirm something with you. The air filter housing, the plastic nut on the top basically just threads on hand tight? It had that big Allen key in the center of the nut but I found you can't really tighten it much because it's hard to hold the bottom of the housing from spinning. The air filter ends up having enough play for you to spin it freely in the housing. Was this sort of what you found? I installed the Sprint filter. It seemed like you could install it either way in the housing and it doesn't specifically have a top or bottom.

Yes, the plastic nut just threaded on hand tight but I can't recall any play in the filter, I'm sure it was fairly well clamped into place and yes it would fit either end up. Mine was a DNA filter though, supplied with the exhaust by BR Special Tuning
A loose fitting filter is not good as unfiltered air could be leaking past the end seals

I think it's fine. I actually need to lift the tank again because I forgot to unclip my broken O2 sensor and clip in the new one. Maybe I'll pull the filter and put the OEM filter back in the housing just to compare. It sits somewhat firmly in the housing. I don't believe there was any up and down play, just enough to be able to spin it in the housing. I also thought it would be a bit of a tighter fit. I'll let ya know what I find.

I'll measure the two filters and make sure they're the same dimensions.
