Interested in a cruise control for 950S

My BMW don't twist the throttle when used. Never heard of that before.

No for me. I had a BMW R1200RT with cruise control and used it only a few times -- don't like the throttle turning under my hand on its own and there aren't that many safe options for using it in heavy traffic anyway. Besides, cruise on a Ducati just seems one more step away from rider involvement. I love this bike (2023 950S) but it already has plenty of electronic rider aids.
All newer bikes have throttle by wire, so no movement with the throttle grip. Personally, as I do have the panniers, I do go on longer road trips with my SS. My 67 year old wrists need a bit of a break, so CC will be nice for me. To each his own!

Same here. Even though I'm not in my sixties yet ;)

Our bike has throttle by wire. So the throttle wouldn't move while the CC was engaged.

Just bought a 2024 950 S and I would also be interested. I am in Canada.

My bike is now in Calgary with Veridian. We are trying to get some sort of idea how many people would be interested in buying one of these.
Has the company got back to you re: cruise control for the 950? It still only shows 6 interested on their website while we have 18 positives on the survey.

Here is the latest:

"We have the wiring figured out and the software is reading the bike properly.
I am going to use the same PID gain values as the Multistrada 950, this should prove a good starting point for the "aggressiveness" of the feedback loop. Possibly needing to soften the system if the SuperSport ECU tuning is significantly more aggressive than the Multistrada.
So at this point I need to wait for some nicer weather to do a test ride. It should only be about 50km of testing."

I will let everyone know when it has been completed.

Awesome. Definitely interested.

Mine should be here this week. Most units won't be available for 5 weeks, due to Veridian having to order Euro 5 connectors. But mine has a Euro 4. I just need to wait for the install video.
Which bike are you referring to, when you say yours will be there in a week?

Are you getting it from Veridian?

I will have to give them a call, as they are using my bike as the test bed for the CC. As of a few days ago, they had not completed testing yet.

Could you please check with Veridian, if the CC can be had with a CE-certification? If it hasn't got one, it will be destroyed upon arrival at any customs office in the EU, unless you're plain lucky and they don't check you parcel.

Easy to fit, and looks great. I put the controller where I can see the LED while riding. Testing works as per Veridian. Haven't been able to test it yet. Hope to this weekend.

So the controller will then plug into the diagnostic connector?
Brake clutch to disengage?
Tap up down to adjust speed?
It would be cool if the led was in the switch.

The LED is built into the controller and is separate to the USBC diagnostic, but in the same unit. Yeh, having the light on the switch would be an improvement. But I only have to lean forward slightly to see it.
