Interested in a cruise control for 950S

Perfect- almost. Just back from a 100 ml ride. When engaged the Veridian Cruise held my speed to within 1 mph of the set point. Each press of the accelerate or deceleration buttons changed the speed by 2 mph. All VERY smooth. Even pressing the resume button in 3rd gear when 20 mph below the set speed.

One surprise; the quick shifter cancels the cruise. Not really an issue when you expect it. Just press resume once in the correct gear.

The smoothest way to cancel is to use the accelerator to 5% above set speed. Any other cancel method will immediately shut the gas to the set point. Most of the time you'll be riding with the throttle closed. Not dangerous, but can be a bit abrupt.

Not sure if it's required by some regulation; but the manual cancel button is completely redundant. I can't think of a reason to use it.... on purpose. But it's very easy to press it accidentally when trying to press the +/- buttons. If I could make one change it would be to replace the cancel button with the LED.

Overall, very impressed. The best dollars I've spent on any upgrade.

Both my Triumph and my KTM factory cruise do the same, so did my Tracer GT. Must be some manufacturer thing they think it needs to do.

My KTM is REALLY bad with this and I found your method to be the best way to cancel as well. Might be a twin thing because it’s not as abrupt as the Triumph triple is.

Glad this is finally available, makes a great bike incredible.

My GTI will keep cruise on when you put in the clutch and shift gears. Wish my Triumph did that!

Ordered the Veridian CC for my 2019 939, ordered last Saturday & arrived in Sydney today (Sunday). Veridian were very responsive to my questions, so kudos to them. Unfortunately I won't get a chance to install until next Friday due to commitments. I've included some pics of the 'unboxing', note the 939 specific 4-pin plug (yellow base). Last 2 pics are of my own connector.

Works well on my 939. The only caution is the "defeat" button is a little sticky and might take a couple of jabs. Perhaps I brush "set" or "resume" with my gloves? Just be deliberate or ignore it all together and use the brakes or throttle to shut it off. The "resume" and "set" work very well. The torquey engine has no problem keeping a steady speed.

I used the atlas and the throttle lock at some point and they just keep needing slight input. This truly is able to hold the speed constant (uphill and downhill) which is what it’s intended for. As @LowRyter mention, I personally “tap” the front brake to disengage the system. I did try to middle cancel button and actually speed up due to hitting the accelerate. Overall, if you do some highway/freeway ride, it’s a very nice option
