I made a hover bike.
Just kidding. The Bridgestone T32s are pretty well cooked (at only about 3600 miles!) so they're coming off for fresh T33s.
Kind of odd since my last set of T32s lasted longer. Maybe I got an odd set or maybe I just rode different this time.
One things I can say for the T32s is that the front and rear really wore evenly. There was no question about leaving the front on for a little longer, both were fairly worn out.
Oh and don't mind the flag, I've just owned a bunch of Kawis and only two Ducs. Also nobody has given me a Ducati flag yet.

@LazyEye What's with the Kawa flag ?
( :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:, just kidding)

15,000 suspension service, done 60,000 now and about to get the second desmo service.

Heffalump the ZX14R had a suspension service as well, and Chris cannot believe the difference it made. Naturally she took the scenic route home…

@spartan1984 Oh wow, have you selected a new stead yet?
I have a few more months to decide and have to sell the Kawi, but I've narrowed the choices down to the following (alphabetical order):
  1. BMW K1600 GT (pre-owned)
  2. BMW S1000XR
  3. Ducati Multistrada Pike Peak (pre-owned)
  4. MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso

@spartan1984 That‘s quite a collection of great motorcycles to choose from! I recall you have a Kaw, Concours, if I am remembering correctly.

What are your thoughts about creating a separate thread on the selection process?

Still doing my deep clean ahead of winter storage. Fairing and front mudguard off, underseat side pannels and number plate off and all those usually inaccesible areas cleaned.
Rear wheel removed, hugger, chain guard, chain runners off and sprocket cover off for a degunge and chain cleaned.
Got visitors this afternoon, so will oil the chain and put the rear of the bike back together tomorrow.
Still waiting on the star lock washers for the fairing to arrive before I can change out the rusty ones and put the fairing back on.

The Concours is still my commuter bike. Love that thing (even though it's "huge" compared to the Duc). I'll probably post it on Cycle trader mid-November to see if there's any interest. If not, then I'll trade-in to the dealer I ultimately purchase my "retirement gift to me" bike from. I think creating a separate thread on selection process is a very good idea. Gives other members some ideas and tips they may not have thought of when looking for a new "to then" bike.

@Triplesapper My word, you do put the rest of us (well, most of us, I would guess) to shame with that thorough treatment of your SuperSport before the winter !
Good on you (y)
