Any marks on the inside cover? Like Ed says this sounds like a resonant frequency - so things like pulling in the clutch lightens the load on the engine and changes the vibration frequency. Easy to go down the wrong rabbit hole...

@Klaus With so many reflective surfaces on the motorcycle it’s hard to identify exactly where the noise is coming from. But you might also try the stethoscope procedure to help identify the location of the noise.
 
Marius indicated in his posts that the noise reduced after a Ducati service, but did not completely go away. But unsure what happened after that since Marius hasn’t signed on in 9 months or so.
