Hi Bruder,

My take on your salient points:

Good luck and I hope your USD goes well against our South Pacific Peso. ;)
Uhhhhh we've printed so many here over the last few years...... we're merging the North American Peso with the South American Peso, to save in printing costs🤣

It's probably going to cost me $6000USp after the conversion

@BruderMaximus
This was my reply from Delkevic when I asked if their Decat 200mm round carbon exhaust kit would fit a 950S

I recently had a customer purchase this kit from us for a 950 SS and he had to fit a set of 939 headers to match up to the kit.
As far as we are aware, the 950SS has a different diameter collector to the 939.
So... to keep some of the USA spec to EURO spec talk/specs straight...

I would be attempting a 17-20 Vandemon 939 EURO pipe
on a 2022 USA spec 950

from one of the other posts it was asserted the 17-20 EURO 939 has the same exact pipe on it as a 21-23' USA Spec 950??? is that correct?

And as i am reading above it's because the US Spec didn't have to change the pipe to meet EURO 5 at the 21-23 model change (which did happen on the EURO 21-23 950)

Put another way, I think what I heard was, there was a divergence in the force in 2021
  • between the US spec 950 header (keeping the old Euro spec 939 header)
  • and the 21 EURO 950 which got a new header

????? Have I got this right?? Whewww where Ducati on these forums when you need them??

@bobster awesome, thanks! I'd probably keep the CF cover on. This system definitely honors the stock look while eliminating so much physical and visual bulk.
Agreed @Alpiner , it looks better with the cover on.

No need to convert @BruderMaximus . here is your USD price (plus freight) from the Vandemon site today. Scroll down to bottom of the page to choose your currency.

well, you have to add $600 for the T800+ & UpMap, and another $75 for the servo buddy. And...., labor if you don't do it yourself...
@BruderMaximus , I'm pretty sure the UpMap inhibits the CEL related to the lack of exhaust servo so no buddy should be needed. I know it inhibits the CEL related to disconnected O2 sensors for sure.

Just browsing and notice this Ducati Supersport 950 Vandemon Stealth Titanium Slip-On 2021-23

The R&D team at Vandemon believed that the project required a stealthy appearance to complement the stealthy nature of this exhaust system, so to the untrained eye, the motorcycle appears to be using the original exhaust system and catalytic converter, when in reality, where the catalytic converter once was is now replaced by a lightweight titanium Stealth twin chamber muffler which when the power button is pressed a titanium exhaust valve opens and redirects the exhaust via both unsilenced mufflers bypassing the stealth muffler and when the valve is closed the exhaust gas then redirects through the Stealth muffler after which the exhaust then will exit via the lower rear muffler for a quieter exhaust tone.

The Bimodal Titanium Valve is driven by a purpose-made BMW servo and powered via a custom wiring harness that patch plugs into the OEM BMW wiring loom under the seat. The switch that activates the valve is mounted on the handlebars or any easily accessible location. It allows the rider to choose between two options: QUIET or POWER MODE, where the exhaust will either pass through the stealth muffler or bypass this completely.

Thanks @DNA69 - finally a Van Demon system for the 950! Obviously, this will fit the Aust / Euro spec bikes. I guess the crunch question is, will it fit US spec for our American colleagues? ($2,349 USD is the price from the site)
Looks like there is no longer a need to replace the front header, which is a massive time saver, although you'll probably use that time with wiring.

Looks great but 102db is not quiet, however, and 105db is damn loud. This will be a loud system no matter the position of the servo.
Looks like a bit of a contraption honestly? As for how loud it is, 3 dB might not seem like that much of a difference but 105 dB is twice as loud as 102 dB if using the 3 dB rule:

Yup, most people don't realize that so when they see factory at 93db and an aftermarket at 97db they think it's not much different. 3db is a major difference and 102db is quite loud.

…and if I understand it correctly the Euro5 noise limit is set at 77 dB 🙃
(seems impossibly low?)

Nice find. Seems like the perfect solution - quiet mode for neighborhoods where you don't want to be reported to the police, power mode for getting it on. But... seems like you're just inviting breakage with that extra complexity.
